The Australia vs. Pakistan cricket test series has kicked off Down Under, with the two powerhouse nations facing off in front of thousands of fans in Australia and millions more watching from home.
Part of the 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship, the Australia vs. Pakistan test series kicked off with the First Test December 14-18 in Perth and the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which ran until December 30. The third test (a.k.a. the New Year’s Test) is happening now and runs until January 7, at the SCG in Sydney.

The two countries are playing as part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship, which is part of the third edition of the ICC World Test Championship (not to be confused with the ICC Cricket World Cup). The tournament features nine ICC members competing across 27 series and 69 matches total during the league stage. The top two teams after that will compete at the final in London in June 2025.
