How judge sentenced Maryam Sanda to death by hanging for killing her husband
The 3rd floor of the Maitama High Court was in a frenzy as the judge, Yusuf Halilu, delivered judgement on a case of murder involving one Maryam Sanda. Maryam was accused of killing her husband, Bilyamin Mohammed Bello, over alleged infidelity in November 2017. The accused was said to have stabbed her husband several times with a broken bottle "with the intent to kill". ADVERTISEMENT
But Maryam argued that her late husband tripped and fell over a broken ceramic Shisha pot during a heated argument over a nude photo of a female she saw while looking through his phone.

Police Arrest Suspected Black Axe Hitman In Ogun
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has arrested a member of the Black Axe cult group, identified as Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, also known as Butcher. In a post via his X handle on Monday, the spokesperson for the Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the suspected kidnapper, armed robber and cultist was arrested at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Adejobi identified the suspect as the hit man and armourer for the Neo-Black Movement of Africa, aka Black Axe, in Ijebu Ode.

A YouTube user and robotics expert Randy Slavey demonstrates a remote-controlled pumpkin that looks and moves like BB-8, the newest droid in the Star Wars universe. The character will appear in the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens (out Dec. 14) and is already tipped to be a popular holiday toy.
The figure from Star Wars seemed to have been a popular design for pumpkins this year, for in the walk-up to Halloween, Disney released a tutorial on how to paint a pumpkin to look like the white-and-orange droid.
