PDP Reacts To Suit Seeking To Stop Presidential Primary
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to a suit filed by one of its members seeking to stop its presidential primary fixed for May 28, 2022. Naija News reports that a former Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Cosmas Ndukwe, had asked a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to stop the PDP’s presidential primary.
In a suit filed on April 19, Ndukwe asked the court to stop the upcoming exercise over the non-zoning of the party’s presidential ticket to the South East.
