Northern Elders Visit Obasanjo In Ogun
Some Northern elders led by the convener of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Prof. Ango Abdullahi have paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Ogun State. The Northern elders who were part of the visit include the Chairman, CNG Board of Trustees (BOT), Nastura Ashir Shariff; and the Director, CNG Action and Mobilization, Aminu Adam.
Naija News understands the elders visited Obasanjo at his residence on Tuesday and the two parties met behind closed doors for about two hours.

Shehu Sani Reacts To Suicide Committed By Soldier Working With B/Haram Fighters
Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the reported suicide of a Nigerian soldier collaborating with Boko Haram terrorists in the Northern part of the country. News had emerged earlier that an instructor with the Nigerian Army (NA) battalion in Geidam, Yobe State, Lance Corporal Jibrin, killed himself after he was arrested for conniving with terrorists in the state.

The aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and allies of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State are currently in a closed-door meeting in Lagos.
